About ‘A Good Treaty’

‘A Good Treaty’ is a blog I started in early 2010, when working as a research assistant at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC. This is a personal blog and the opinions expressed here belong to me and me alone. AGT is dedicated primarily to Russian internal politics, with occasional emphasis on U.S.-Russian relations.

The name of the blog is taken from a famous quote by a certain German statesman. That humorous phrase conveys the political realism that inspired me to begin writing about Russia.
